I've been using the foil in the air fryer to minimise cleanup, and it has been great so far. But it doesn't work very well if I want things to crisp, well duh. The juices and oils don't have anywhere to go, so you'll never get crispy stuff if you use the foil.

The only time I'll use the foil now is if I'm making food like the stingray
