Airfried Buttermilk Salmon

So I had half a carton of buttermilk left after baking buttermilk biscuits, sadly not by air fryer though. As opened buttermilk has a short shelf (fridge!) life, I had to do something with it.

So I decided to try making buttermilk coated salmon using the air fryer.

What you need:
1 fillet of salmon
Enough buttermilk to cover
Seasoning, like black pepper, garlic powder etc.

Salmon marinating in buttermilk concoction

I chopped the salmon up into smaller pieces so that there is more surface area, and hence more buttermilk!

Flouring the salmon slightly
When it was time to air fry it, I decided to flour it lightly. I'm rather undecided on this step though, as there was enough stuff on the salmon pieces. The air fryer can't handle that much flour. You'll end up with areas of white, floury bits.

Into the air fryer they go!

Blitz at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes

Yummilicious!
The only problem is that it will stick to the basket. But it's just something you'll have to live with. Using a foil wouldn't have been good.
