Philips Airfryer

This is an introduction to the Philips Airfryer. It is a large, egg shaped device that is really a glorified oven.

The one that I have is an older (and smaller) model:
My current airfryer!
It's rather small, 800 grams capacity, and the temperature and time dials are analogue. Don't buy it at S$400 though. It can usually be found on sale at S$279 thereabouts. However, there are new versions out there, the Avance Collection Airfryer, which has digital dials and a much sleeker look. If I were to buy it, I'll definitely go for the XL, as it has a capacity of 1.2kg.

My dream airfryer! Note the advanced looking digital dials and display!

The Airfryer boasts to be:
  • Healthy
  • Tasty and Versatile
  • Fast and Easy
I can attest to the versatile part, although what comes in most people's minds when they hear "Airfryer" is to think of fried food, or processed food like fish fingers, chicken nuggets etc.

In truth, the Airfryer can do more than that! It is really an awesome kitchen helper! It can do anything! Even bake chocolate lava cakes!
